We are all pulled into the lie of the world that it is ok to have sex before marriage and that it is acceptable in today’s time and age. As people with a desire to please the one we love we feel that having sex is the way we show our love to one another and so often feel pressured because everyone else does it. Well let me tell you something….its wrong and in disobedience to God. He has made it one of His laws that we should not have sex before marriage. This life is not about our needs and desires, its about Jesus and we need to honor His commandments and His laws. God has given us laws for a reason and that is to protect us. He knows what will happen if we do not keep to His word. So many people say its so difficult not to give in to the temptations of this world, but nobody said it was going to be easy. We say no to sex to honor God and out of respect for the temple of the Holy Spirit.

Do you want to go to heaven or do you want to please the world? For God says…

Eph 5:3 But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints.
Eph 5:4 Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving.
Eph 5:5 For you may be sure of this, that everyone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.
Eph 5:6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.

Do you understand how serious this is? With sexual sin in our lives there is no place for us in heaven! People may say that Jesus went to the cross for our sins and that this does not apply anymore, but let me tell you it still applies today. This is part of the new testament and you read about the same thing in Galatians.

Yes God forgive our sins and He has mercy and grace but He also says…
Joh 8:11 Jesus said, "Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more."

If Jesus came tonight you cant say that you did not know that it is a sin to have sex before marriage, because I’m telling you know. If the one you love really loves and respect you they will wait till you are married and God will honor both of you for that.

We are always so quick to please people, its time to please God

My prayer for you:
Father God I thank You for Your mercy and grace, Father I ask in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ that Your Holy Spirit will make this message a reality to everyone reading it and that there eyes will be opened to the lies of the world. Father I ask in Your Holy name that You will give each person the strength to stand strong against all temptations. I thank you Father God and we love You, praise Your Holy name.
