Wow can you believe it’s the end of the week? Time is going past so quickly. Thank you all so much for all your reply’s it really means a lot.

Today I would like to talk about joy, yes my friends JOY…..
Do you know that they mention the word joy 171 times in the bible? Yes that is amazing. I think for every believer in Christ it is so important to never lose your joy.

Life has so many challenges; there are so many things that goes on in our day to day that we so often feel our heads spinning. We get up in the morning, rush to work, rush back home, care for our families and go to bed. Does that sound about right? Yes I know, how hectic it is. My friends God want us to be happy, He made us to enjoy our lives and have fun.
So many people think the word fun means to drink and party, but that is so far from the truth. Satan took the word fun and made it bad like he always does and then there is the other thing going around saying that it is boring to be a follower of Christ.
Well let me tell you something, I don’t drink, I don’t party but I have joy my joy and I enjoy life. Yes there comes days that I don’t feel on top of the world but then it is my job to get my joy back. Joy can lifts us out of any mood that we are in, if you are feeling depressed, sad, lonely or angry…the joy of the Lord can get you out of any mood and joy gets us trough life.
1Ch 16:27 Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and joy are in his place.

Ezr 6:22 And they kept the Feast of Unleavened Bread seven days with joy, for the LORD had made them joyful and had turned the heart of the king of Assyria to them, so that he aided them in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.

Job 8:19 Behold, this is the joy of his way, and out of the soil others will spring.

We feel so good when we are happy and it brings joy to other people if we are happy and laughing. Satan hates joy and he does everything he can to take that away from us. My friends don’t let him take that from you, take your authority in Christ and chose to love life and be joyful. You are precious to God and your happiness means so much to Him.
